About me and my practice

I'm down to earth and aim to create a relaxed, safe and always confidential environment in which you feel able to be yourself and talk freely.

You might be struggling with anxiety, feeling uncertain about your life choices or having relationship difficulties. Whatever you want to talk about, I can support you to build greater self-awareness and in turn more clarity and choice in how you move forward.

Experience

I have been working in private practice since 2018 and prior to that worked in low cost counselling services in Brighton and Hastings. My passion for counselling followed a career in mental health and relationships support in the charity sector.
I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, panic, depression, stress, low self esteem, loss and grief, lack of confidence, coping with or creating change, relationship difficulties and more. We'll work collaboratively on what you want to get out of your sessions and I can tailor my approach to suit your needs.

Qualifications

Postgraduate Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling

I am committed to ongoing learning and development and have completed additional training in a number of areas such as trauma, dependency issues, attachment, eco therapy, mindfulness and more.

Initial Consultation

I offer an initial session at a reduced fee so that you can see how you feel talking with me and ask any questions you might have about how I work or what to expect from therapy with me. We'll explore a little of what brings you to therapy at this time and what you are hoping to get out of it.

When I Work

My availability varies all the time but I generally work between the hours or 9am and 6pm Monday - Thursday.
